5/5/08 7:40pm - Ozzie Jealous of Cubs
Cubs fans looking to pour salt on any open wounds of their fellow Sox fans received all the fuel they needed on Sunday. This time, from the South Side's own Manager, Ozzie Guillen.
Ozzie, was critical of the Sox fans for second guessing managerial decisions. What was amusing for Cubs fans was that he spent a good portion of the interview talking about his Northside rivals and how they are the more beloved Chicago team.
Ozzie showed his jealousy of the Cubs by suggesting that Chicago fans love the Cubs more even though they hadn't won the World Series in 100 years. He even went as far as to compare himself to Lee Elia and his famous tirade, almost begging the fans to treat him like the Cubs fans now treat Elia.
Hey Ozzie, we on the Northside know that you will never get yourself or your team out the shadow of the Cubs, but why don't you worry about your own team? Maybe you can spend more time helping your team win and less time complaining about the Cubs and their fans.
If you want a good laugh, listen to his tirade
at Chicago Tribune.
